Eid Ul-Adha is a traditional festival celebrated by Muslims across the globe to honor the respect Abraham was willing to give to God (ALLAH) through the sacrifice of his first born son, Ismael. In the end, Ismael was not sacrificed and later became known as the Father of the Arabs, reputedly living to the age of 137 years. Participation in this celebration starts with learning how to respect Eid Ul-Adha traditions.The festival reminds everyone of the mercy and benefits bestowed upon mankind by ALLAH”.

Eid Feasts, Celebrations Around The World To Mark End Of Ramadan for Muslim world.
Muslims decorated their homes and prepared sumptuous meals for friends and family. Big chunks of meat mixed with rice and vegetables is traditional. The whole country reveled in celebration with men and women greeting and kissing each other in big cities.

Eid 2011

The traffic that normally snarls the busy streets eased as many used mass transit to visit amusement parks and Cairo’s few gardens. Vendors and beggars wished passers-by a happy Eid with a smile, hoping for a better tip.

Supermarkets and sweet shops had special sales on hundreds of boxes of traditional Eid-ul-Fitr Sweets & cookies.
